Why does LawNewsIndex have country names with hashtags?

Law or legislative news concerning UK or of interest to UK does not carry any prefix although local news items, where possible, mention a locality. News items from individual law journals state the journal name within a prefix or suffix such as 'LAW GAZETTE' or 'The Lawyer'. 'LAW FIRM NEWS' refers to business or legal activity involving a law firm. A prefix such as 'US:' or 'Russia:' refer to the country of origin for that particular news item and may cover legislative changes, human rights issues or cases that might be of interest to international readers. Major ongoing international stories do not carry country prefixes.
